May 22 & 23, 2023 – Rome, Italy
On 22-23 May in Rome hosted by ISS, survey results on surveillance of severe infectious diseases that lead to hospitalization were shared. We discussed our experiences with hospital surveillance, the gaps and barriers encountered, and possible solutions to be taken. Piloting plans were presented by participating countries and will kick-off on 31 July.
